I had been learning how to play piano for 5 years (although the normal scheme includes 6years, but i managed to pass in5) but I couldn't go to the second music school, (the higher one), since it was in a different town and I wouldn't have time to commute avery day :(
however, I really liked the experience itself and the fact that now i can play what i want, also music from my favourite films :) classic music is something that calmes me down, helps to chill out.
About other hobbies? Well, I like to draw (it lasts forever until i'm happy with the pic, though, since I'm perfectionist:P) I draw portraits - of my friends, usually. I also try to do some digital work, but don't have enough time for it :P
I also dance ballroom dances (and from time to time hip-hop) in a club called 'Samba'. Some photos in my gallery come from the dance camp that i went with my club-mates (crazy, crazy people, but i like them!). Do you dance in a club...?
oh, my email turned out to be an epistle, but whatever... ^.^
so one more word about books: i work on my knowledge about classic-ok, artistic-books, since i think that there are books that every one should read. We just... should. But my favourite kind - is fantasy and adventure (also with historical elements) books. Tolkien, Rowling, Sapkowski (amazing Polish writer!) stand on my shelve...
