Hi, Patrick.
I am the Italian English teacher.
I'm very glad you've decided to join this project.
We worked so well with Adam and Nadehza last year.
Drop a line when you feel like it.

Dear Patrick, I'm happy we are working together this year. Years back it was hard to imagine the opportunity like this. Various cultures, hobbies, visions of life, even phylosofies come to meet on the site. I love Amy Nixon's poetry very much. She is not against we use it in the lessons. And I'm thankful.I'm sure durimg the year we'll get to know each other better and make friends. We are on the way!
Warmest regards,
Nadezhda
Dear Patrick,
how are you?
Have you managed to put in the list of your students with the links to their work?
We had arranged a skype session with Adam and Nadehza for tomorrow, but have decided to put it off till after Christmas. Hopefully, you could join us , with your students. I will keep you posted on the date.
It is cold and frosty here as well.
Schools are closed from 24 dec. to 6 Jan. What about Northern Ireland?
Best wishes from AntonellaDelete Comment
Dear Patrick,
how are you?
Still the grip of Mr Frosty up there?
It is quite cold here as well (minus one today).
I am writing because today at a conference I met an acquaintance of mine who teaches French at a Middle School near Venice (where kids are aged between 11 and 14 years old), who is looking for an Irish partner for a Comenius project. As you probably know the deadline for the presentation of the application forms is just round the corner (19th Feb.), so she has not got muuch time ahead to find one..
I hope you can come up with someonexxx
Kind regards and MANY THANKS,
Antonella
Dear Patrick,
I'm so happy you want to deal with the Troubles. I wrote my master's thesis on the picture of the Troubles in Glenn Patterson's Lapsed Protestant and last year we interviewed him for What matters in your life project. Do you think you could film something while visiting the museum? You could put that on our site. My students and I would be delighted to get to know more about those sad events. Later your students could prepare a short webqest for other participants devoted to the Troubles and we would do the same for our countries? I have thought that the answers could be presented in the form of comics. We are also going to make a video about our town's history.
Warmest regards,
Adam
Dear Patrick, I've just had a chance to see some destinations of Belfast just here, on this site. Beautiful! The castle is impressive. You live in a beautiful city. Thank you for the video, my students have an opportunity to hear native speakers speak English.Great! Thank you again.
Warmest regards,
Nadezhda
Dear Patrick,
thanks for the videos.
It is a bit hard to read the text of the one entitled "Growing up in Belfast".
Could you kindly add a note putting the the text of the video in it , so that it gets more readable.
I would like my students to be able to read it carefully and understand what the "Troubles" are, and how Belfast people's lives have been affected by them.
Thanks in advance.
Antonella
