Thank you, Antonella, I've seen the list of the students on the bar you've mentioned. I've asked one of my students to do the same and to put the list of Russian students there.
As for the programme, of course this time and further on we'll be using Skype. But the programme I wrote about was given to me by Antonella Ortice. And I think I could ask her about that. It was rather functional and convenient.
Take care,
Nadezhda
Dear Antonella, I see the reasons and I understand them very well as I'm facing the same difficulties. I wonder why the students don't grab this unique opportunity to step into the world. Perhaps they are too young to fully estimate all the values of the communication like this. I AM sure the site is a real treasure though you are right saying it's hard to encourage an active participation. I hope on-line sessions during which they see and hear each other will really help with motivation.
Here it's getting colder and colder. The weather looks to be the way Russia used to have years ans years back. The problem is there's very little snow.
I'll be in touch. Have a nice and safe trip.
Warmest regards,
Nadya
Dear Antonella,
Yes, we can have the session after 6th Jan. I have just arrived in Paderborn and checked my post. Did you get the email telling that our project received an award and we are invited to go to Seville at the beginning of Feb? Congratulations my dear partner :)
Hello Antonella,
I'm working with another teacher to change the power point files into a video and to upload with a link with the name list, I will manage it, sure.
We close the school from 22 to 7 and yes, I would like to take part in the comunication session. Please, tell me the date and the way to prepare every thing. Regards, Marcos
Dear Antonella, I'd like our students to read this poem.
Bombs fell toward a sky
from underground, wresting blood, soot, faces
from the refuge of earth. No more warning
than eruptions ever give. No other claims
beyond what bodies may be found. No wisdom
but strangers helping each other breathe an air
old as stolen fire.
Moorgate, Aldgate, Liverpool Street,
Edgware, Tavistock,
Russell Square, King’s Cross—
names to chant, haunted
in all daylights after this one
by new Rippers, new Reichsführers,
cold, profane, entirely resolved.
Bits of a sentence broken mid-word,
traces of a scarf left on a bus,
scraps of an embrace only begun,
shreds and spots where a morning had started—
Olympus in tatters, Götterdammerung in Hyde Park,
Mohammed weeps in the tube.
Dear Antonella,
I'm fine but very busy as it's our last week at school. We finish on Friday, 25th.
My head master asked me to apply and I sent the application last Friday and now I'm waiting for the results. I'll write more soon.
Give my warmest regards to all your dearest ones,
Adam
Dear Antonella,
I completed an online application. And it was in Polish :( I'm sorry. I tried to open the application form a moment ago but it's not possible. It's been sent to our National Agency. I described all the things we managed to do and gave the links to particular items.
Thank you for yr invitation but Peter is too small to go abroad. But if you would like to come to Poland you can always stay at my place and be my most desired guest.
Warmest regards,
Adam
